On Sunday, July 20th, St.Paul's congregation voted unanimously to accept Doug Horner as their new minister of St.Paul's Church. Doug comes to St. Paul's with his wife Kathy and two daughters Julia and Lydia.

Doug is originally from Lorain, Ohio, is a graduate of Yale Divinity School, and has most recently served as Minister of Mission of a large congregation in the Rhode Island Conference of the UCC. He loves music and dance and loves playing lead guitar in contemporary Christian bands. Doug also has taught alternatives to violence since 1992 and is a true outdoorsman and athlete. In addition, Doug has done years of outreach in Haiti.

Kathy has worked for HeadStart in Washington DC and as an intern as a policy analyst.

Julia is 7 years old and Lydia is 3 years old and both are as cute and wonderful as can be.
